Director: Fred Vogel
Writers: Shelby Jackson, Fred Vogel
Kim has just ended a six-year relationship with her boyfriend Mitch. After a little encouragement, she agrees to get her mind off the break up by hitting the biggest party of the year with her best friend. Mortified and enraged Mitch sets out to find his beloved Kim, in hopes of winning her back. After the party gets busted, Kim and her group of friends decide to continue the party at the town's most notorious urban legend. Butchery and carnage will reign as Mitch seeks vengeance on Kim, her best friend and anyone else that gets in his way of following her to THE REDSIN TOWER.
Fred Vogel and ToeTag the team that brought you the snuff styled August Underground trilogy turn their hands at a more standard plot driven film. Its your basic old teens have no place better to throw a party than in the local haunted building plot. Trouble is its so poorly acted with truly dumb dialog viewers will find it hard to stick with, which is a bit of a shame because Freds lack of talent in making actors feel comfortable in front of the camera is made up for in being extremely gifted at doing gore set pieces and bumping the cast off. Also of note are the back flashes with Mateo Redsin these are done so well leaves you feeling why couldn't they done more of these and leave all the sub Clerks teens hanging around bollocks out. Vogel as much as you wanna gun for the underdog and have to respect he's got these films made at all doesn't sway from the fact this films a real disappointment. Fingers crossed for the next toetag film though glad he's branched away from AU.
