A pair of Siamese twins are separated and one is forced to live a sheltered existence under the watchful eye of a controlling psychiatrist.
'Watchable remake of Brian DePalma’s 1973 film Sisters, isn't as disappointing as I thought it was going to be. This is largely thanks to the casting of Jane Birkin's hot daughter Lou Doillon as the separated twins Angelique & Annabelle Tristiana. I mean true as lovely as she is she's not as good as Margot Kidder was, though be honest how hard is it to see Kidder without first thinking of Lois Lane. The rest of the cast do a fine job with Stephen Rea whom I don't think we've seen in an horror since Fear.com, thankfully he's much better this time round as Angelique's ex-husband and doctor Philip Lacan. Xfiles fans like me will be happy to spot cigarette smoking man William B. Davis as Dr. Bryant the doctor who splits the twins. Chloe Sevigny as Grace Collier is pretty much a scooby doo pesky kid meddling into both Lacans and then Angeliques lives. I'm not going to give away it's twists but it falls slightly short of the original as its less psychological. Anyhow If you've seen the original and want an OK view this 2007 one isn’t so bad, hell we've had far worse horror films and remakes lately. I must end by recommending the Thai film Alone though as it’s a much better crafted Siamese twin horror.'
