The movie tells the story about a couple who get lost in a storm, and seek refuge at seemingly abandoned house. The couple soon find a stash of drugs and it's redneck owners - who take the couple hostage. The couple realize they must band together and go to limits they didn't think they'd go in order to survive.
'Another in the long line of recent survival horrors, plots highly derivative of other films notably Wolf Creek which was also set in Australia. It follows lawyer Rob and his French wife Pia as they take a well earnt country break on their little boat. They get lost and end up due to low tides stranded on a small island whose only inhabitants are two hillbilly brothers Jimmy & Brett a blood thirsty rottweiler and their father known only as Poppy. After declining a bribe from the husband to help them, it’s clear from the start the family is only interested in his wife. Leaving Robb and Pia no option but to fight the gruesome threesome off in anyway they can. Once the action kicks in you'll forgive the film for not delivering a unique plot, as its one hell of a fun ride. Blood spills while we get funky rock banjo music, throw in to the mix a wickedly amusing rape scene. Along with the carnage we get moments of odd sleaze like a scene we see the 2 brothers and Pa seemingly all sat watching bestiality porn, later backed up when we hear Pa say "I don’t think he's had a female women before". Standout scene has to go to the rottweiler though. To sum it up you’re not going to find anything new with it but for the hour and half I had a ball (nudge nudge)'
