Sarah a young American in search of religious ecstasy, travels to Italy to join the New Order Convent and be closer to God. While she’s ready to devote herself entirely to becoming a nun, the vows she faces turn out to be truly torturous; each new test of faith pushes her closer to physical and emotional destruction. As Sarah suffers at the hands of the other sisters, she begins to learn more about the convent’s unholy past, and the deadly secrets hidden all around her.
