A naked, blood-soaked man throws a corpse into a dimly lit basement. The cadaver lands against another body and we realize that corpses are not exactly scarce here. Everything we see seems to suggest a pattern, a cycle. Just wait.
Disturbing and gory 8 minute body horror short from Spain, that packs more punch per minute than Mike Tyson did in his prime. Fans of David Cronenberg and Clive Barker will lap this up. Plots really simple about a man with something to hide in his basement, he regenerates finally becoming the new creatures secret to hide in the basement. Víctor García builds up the atmosphere well and like Eduardo Rodriguez proved with his awesome short Daughter hes a name to look out for. He has a new feature due in 2009 called Slaughter and on the strengh of this short it'll be one of next years highlights.
