Director: David Blyth
Writer: David Blyth
Cast: Kate O'Rourke, Te Kaea Beri, Campbell Cooley

Bleak dreamlike movie revolving around extremely dark issues, these include murder, S&M, incest, suicide and mental illness. It follows Susan who's been left with extreme psychological scars following a life of psychical and mental abuse at the hands of her parents. She's visited by her daughter Tanya (A daughter whom was born from incestious rape). Although possibly Tanya's a figment of Susan's spiralling out of control delusions.
To suggest David Blyth's film is bleak is an understatement, Wound isn't this years feel good movie. Unless you're Joseph Fritzel it's not a film you'll come away having enjoyed, but there's enough well crafted madness here to at least give the film credit visually. If you can endure extreme cinema it's worth at least one view, if not please for goodness sake and your sanity avoid it like the plague.
