Boulevard, 2015 - ★★
REVIEWED

Boring, sententious swan song from Mr. Williams (not how he deserves to be remembered). Don't get me wrong, if he'd have made a similar rainbow flag waving gay acceptence film at the height of his early 80's 'Mork and Mindy' fame, he'd have been rightly credited as being brave. But in 2015 when even banks have popular commercials featuring transgender men twerking, having a plot about a gay bank teller who doesn't actually dine on sausage seems extremely outdated. And boy does it take itself too seriously, 'Birdcage Part Deux' it ain't. Putting Williams & Odenkirk in such an inappropriate humorless film is a total waste of both their talents.
