"Every acre was paid for in blood" - John Lear
Enjoyable made for TV Shakespearean western hybrid, thats given weight by booming voiced Patrick Stewart as Lear, he really looks like hes enjoying this. Also features a fantastic supporting cast including Roy Scheider, Marcia Gay Harden, Colm Meany and comic relief by 'In Living Colors' David Alan Grier. Its no 'Ran'' but a passable stab at turning the bards famed king into an old west cattle baron.
