"I am just by myself all alone" - Slightly intoxicated elderly villager

Unique and truly touched with creative genius. Simplistic premise of making an improvised film around an exquisite corpse story. Kicks off with one participant building the start of a story from the concept 'a mysterious object at noon' then the unfinished yarn moves along to other contributors each adding a little bit more. Then to give the progressively silly tall tale and film itself more depth, filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul skillfully gives it a rough guide style travelogue feel (of rural Thailand) as well as adding subtle layers of social observations.

Cleverly simple/Simply clever? its such a lovely little film that I viewed/stumbled over purely by chance after watching the similar concept but differently executed 'The Exquisite Corpse Project'. I need to see more of his films.
