More muppets than a Jim Henson movie. In order to save their granddads retirement home from closing, two dimwit London brothers decide to rob a bank. Only their perfect heist goes tomtit when a zombie outbreak affects the eastend.
Not as cringe inducing as I'd expected, yet it's still unashamedly guilty of everything I'd avoided it this long for:- ropey acting, being a tactless SHAUN OF THE DEAD ripoff, cgi blood, obvious cockney stereotypes, dumbed down humor, Chas & fucking Dave, digs at the north... yet somewhat surprisingly its not an half bad little b-movie, considering. The casting of Honor 'Pussy Galore' Blackman and Alan 'East End Thug' Ford was pretty inspired, the rest of the cast are familiar BBC faces from shows like Doctor Who & Eastenders. Some pretty funny lowbrow gags and cheesily OTT kills. Favorites included the zombie football hooliganism between (I think) Millwall & West Ham fans, the zimmer-framed oap vs zombie race and the baby drop kick.
