"There was no miracle here today, if you need to believe something believe that" - Jack Harriman (Billy Burke)

Pedestrian, lightly comic drama about a slacker turned reluctant preacher Jack, who ends up on a road trip to inspire, find meaning and get laid. The films heart is in the right place, and throws in a few enjoyable moments. But ultimately it offers nothing an episode of the similar toned Californication doesn't. And it was depressing seeing the once great Gary Cole (Midnight Caller, American Gothic) reduced to such a shitily weak part.
