A traveling mystical doctor, a "Bugmaster' passes through remote regions of Japan curing the ill effects of supernatural creatures, the Mushi, who spread plague.
'Slow brooding and beautiful looking film, based on a manga which as already seen a anime version called Mushishi in 2005, The films full of spellbinding fantasy imagery just a shame as of present there's no English subbed version out.'
