Writers: Jaime Comas Gil, Eugenio Benito
A man called Rage is a group of survivors' only hope to lead them through the forbidden lands of mutants and cannibals in order to save humanity after a nuclear war has devastated Earth.
'A gleefully trashy gem from the halcyon days of Italian ripoffs, pretty much a MadMax plot with the added bonus of some scenes being filmed in a Day of the Dead underground base setting. Film kicks off with a great montage of real world in crises footage though very politicaly incorrect it intercuts bombs going off with famine babies crying. This sets the mood well for what's basically a post apocalypse survival movie. The characters are crude action stereotypes wearing anything from wwII uniforms, Easy Rider hells angels to what looks like white Clockwork Orange droog costumes. Fans of cheese should love this, I went in thinking I'd be hitting the fastforward or even stop but came away feeling pleasantly surprised.'
