Stabbed in the Face (2004)Director: Jason Bradford
Writer: Jared Scallions
Set in the mid 1980's, a group of young kids ventures off to a remote abandoned home for the Halloween adventure of their adolescent wet dreams. Unfortunately, a serial killer is on the loose, but what do horny young teens care for such trivialities? Only Terry, their demented leader and unsuspecting murderer of the group, notices bodies cropping up in places unrelated to the meticulous murders he himself has committed. Who will have the bigger body count, Terry or the mystery murderer? Will the group discover Terry's true psychopathic intents, or will the drugs, alcohol, and sex deaden their senses enough for Terry to deaden them?
'Clearly filmed on a micro low budget, and featuring none actors won't hopefully stop the cheese movie fans from hunting this down, its an aimable attempt and alot of fun. Plots typical horror trash fodder with teens taking a vacation, some babble about about a farmyard wife killing her cheating husband. For my tastes it was a little heavy on post punk/nu metal though the opening credits song was strong. Another flaw is some of the scenes are painfully dark, but on the whole has enough boobs, blood to keep you watching, also some fun dumb throwaway dialog like 'you put the dick in ridiculas'. One thing that impressed was the films attempt to pace itself proper something most lowgrade horror trash movies don't even try to do.'
