'I like Ittenbach what he lacks in writing ability and film pace/structure he usually makes up for in action and gore, sadly I must confess out of pure boredom it took me three sittings to complete this mess. The word 'Dard' from the title refers to a Persian death threat meaning Pain, and boy was sitting through this a dard in the ass. The plots about super bitch lawyer and part time drunk Nathalie (played by Ittenbach's wife Martina) and her over zealous take him for everything divorce from her much put upon low wage earning husband Tim. To help fund his high court costs he ends up doing extra work for his criminal boss. Only while being given rare child access it goes wrong and his and Nathalie’s kids get taken hostage. We then get numerous accounts from various parties involved on what went on, best being a transsexual mob boss. Thankfully as hackneyed as the story is Ittenbach hasn’t forgotten how to deliver the red stuff and some of the torture scenes are done really well. Its just sad they’re not enough to turn this film into anything but a violent well filmed but badly acted turkey.'
