IMDB Page
'Mildly entertaining, though ultimately forgettable British Comedy Horror Crime yarn. Highly let down by its pedestrian pace and the fact it doesn’t really seem to know what it wanted to be. We start with brothers Peter (League of Gentlmen's Reece Shearsmith) and David (LOTR's Golem Andy Serkis) as two bungling crooks who hide out in a remote farmyard cottage with their loud mouthed scouse hostage Tracey (soapstar and teen mag pinup Jennifer Ellison). For the first half it follows in the grand Ealing black comedy tradition of 'anything that can go wrong will go wrong'. Then when Tracey gets free and strays into a surrounding farm the film switches pace from the bungled hostage situation, into one of a local head hunting mutant killer on the loose. The film manages to pack a few great gory moments, much to the credit of the fx and props crew. But it’s the films comic side and the audiences lack of warmth towards any of its characters that ultimately let it down. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to see it, better to save it for a wet afternoon. Which is probably why they’re releasing it on DVD in April?'
