Ronald Perkins builds an army of 14 people brainwashed through cult-like methods to protect him from his parents' killers. When Perkins is imprisoned, the police unwittingly unleash his followers on a small town and they've only got one thing on their mind: "Kill for Mr. Perkins. The Unsolved ten year case of 14 abducted children comes crashing to an end one dark night, when by chance police officer Dwayne Hopper (a parent of one of the missing) begins to suspect a strange man Bernard Perkins who's in the cells of his police station. Hopper sends a work mate to check out the Perkins residence who unwittingly unleashes the still alive abductees, whom we learn have been kept alive tortured and brain washed with PCP to become mindless killers. The story has shades of Assault On Precinct 13 due to being set mostly around the station over one night, it is at times a little muddled and implausible but thankfully the plot as enough originality to shine through. Actings a mixed bag Patrick O'Kane as Hopper and Shayla Beesley as Daisy both do great jobs but a few of the other actors I didn't care for. The film contains a nice balance of story and action set pieces and a nice gore quota which will please the gore hounds. My personal fave After Dark Horrorfest III film is well worth seeking out.
