Driving to a wedding in Los Angeles through the Mojave Desert, Paul and Adrienne pull off the highway and into Roy's Motel and Cafe. This roadside artifact proves to be a strange and surreal place with an unsettling mix of travelers, who force our couple to discover the secret hidden between them and ultimately, the horrifying reality of their current situation.
Interesting suspense yarn which starts with the all to familiar setup of a couple Paul (Josh 'The Collector' Stewart) and Adrienne (Jamie-Lynn 'Tony Sopranos daughter' Sigler) driving at night needing to pull over for rest at a roadside Motel & Cafe. Only theres more to the humble Motel than first meets the eye. Paul is slowly sent on a journey that delves into his murky past and leaves him to question if hes really right for Adrienne.
Great small movie that plays a little like the John Cusack's Identity. Josh Stewart is well cast in the central role as Paul coming off like a young Sean Penn. Scripts a touch predictable but all in all a worthwhile view.
