"What we can't do the mandroid unit can."

Dr. Karl Zimmer (Robert Symonds)

Action science fiction shitacular filmed in unglamorous brown and grey in Romania for Full Moon Pictures. German scientist Karl Zimmer makes a remote controlled android unit to aid in creating an highly toxious mushroom based source of power named Superconn. Zimmer's partner Drago decides to steal the droid and its power source for himself, with the aim of creating a droid army he can sell to the nazis.

I've usually a bit of a soft spot for Full Moon & Empire Pictures movies, sadly Mandroid's an extremely boring muddled mess. Surprisingly this shit somehow managed to get a sequel, that I'm reluctant to invest my time in finding & viewing.

The droid suit looked great, plus the peculiar boob filled ending (that was clearly tacked on at a later date) involving the mushroom mutated Drago visiting a local prostitute.
