Scientists at a remote research station in the Austrian Alps, uncover a strange glacier containing an unknown microorganism that infects its hosts with insects.

Entertaining low rent ripoff of John Carpenters 'The Thing' from the director of 'Rammbock' Marvin Kren. Takes far too long to build up its action, but its a fun easy going creature feature when it eventually kicks in. Aesthetically its very similar to Syfy chans movies, but I'd rank this as being slightly better than most their recent efforts. Plus it features some lush mountain scenery (which I've always been fond of).
