Adjust Your Tracking: The Untold Story of the VHS Collector, 2013 - ★★½
REVIEWED

Being a rabid vhs collector myself (10k+ pal tapes plus the odd secam & ntsc ones) this should have been perfect viewing. But its a cringe inducingly camp crowdfunded documentary about dedicated mamas boy vhs junkies. That failed to offer anything interesting or deliver deep insights into their movie loving addictions. I enjoyed seeing their collections (even though I'm not a huge fan US slipcases) and the segment on Chester Novel Turners ultra obscure Tales From The Quadead Zone which was bought for $2 and sold for $660 on ebay, but most of the other parts could have been easily fastforwarded. And it was depressing to see Tromas usually amusing Lloyd Kaufman in such a senile way.
