Far from being the best film lurking on Ravens Banner busy roster. Beautiful People is a muddled attempt at mixing two currrently done to death horror subgenres home invasion & zombies. It also doesn't help matters its an Italian production with an obviously limited experienced mixed English Italian cast. Thats most noticeable and amusing with the mix of accents of the scientist and his family. That aside its not without a certain brutal power, thanks to first time director Brini Amerigo's willingness to push the 70's exploitation cinema tone. He's clearly a fan of Ruggero Deodato's 'House on the Edge of the Park'.
