REVIEWED
Unapologetically comic creature feature had a passable story about mutant wasps invading a garden party, with the usual lame romantic spin. Thankfully for a change it had entertaining secondary characters, best being the hunchbacked Sydney (Clifton Collins Jr.) who got to go a bit Brundlefly towards the end. Even veteran bee-lister Lance Henriksen put in a good shift for a change. The overall film reminded me alot of 1988's bugtastic gem The Nest, but it sorely lacked the extra oomph to make it as memorable.
