The Swedes finally get their own back for decades of Swedish Chef jibes, in this amusing splatter comedy b-movie that echos early Peter Jackson. A lowrent European summer coach trip turns into choas for its US students when they visit the local American burger factory, and find out they're the ingredients.
This was my second cannibalistic burger movie in a week. While its predictable it still manages to squeeze a decent amount of fun out of the overdone human meat premise, and from its country stereotypes. One of its funniest aspects is watching the young Swedish actors struggle with American accents, sorta like Chinese Elvis impersonators, and the Canadian one is hilarious. Plus the attractive Swedish eye candy helped to alleviate the boredom during its lulls in action.
