VANish, 2015 - ★★★½

High art this isn't but highly entertaining, hell yeah. Hyperenergetic blood soaked exploitation actioner. VANish's simple concept is pure gold, its centered entirely in or damned close to a van that a kidnapped womans being held in, until her druglord father pays her ransom. Would have made a great Breaking Bad episode idea, or even as an extra story arc in Pulp Fiction.

Another gem on Dark Sky Films roster. It features seriously badass acting and dialog, especially by Maiara Walsh and born to be bad Danny Trejo. And Max and Jacks characters made a fun comic double act. Sure its a bit rough around its edges but thats mostly on the production side and down to budget. For a rookie Bryan Bockbraders VANish cleaned up.
