Highly entertaining mess, even though I own the vhs this covers taken from I've never actually seen it (or if I had, I've long since surpressed the experience). Which for a change I'm glad about, because back in the 80's this woulda been a clunky also-ran reminiscent of Peter Bogdanovich's 'Targets'. But dusted off 30'ish years later and its aged into a bonafide camp classic. And one that yells out to be found by future generations of trash fans.

Mild mannered, daydreaming manchild Harry floats in and out of psychiatric care, he tries, he tries real hard. But he knows that something bads gonna happen, but just not when.

Highlights writer Philip Yordans terrible dialog (its a masterclass in ham) and the Empire/Full Moon styled massacre shootout. Ohh and you gotta see the 'words-can't-do-justice' nightmare scene - Harrys sleeping and slowly attacked by a huge snake while being viewed by his creepy childhood carnival teddy (which later speaks), pure Hitchcockian levels of suspense, lol.
