Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny and Girly (1969)
aka Girly
Director: by Freddie Francis
Writers: Brian Comport, Maisie Mosco
Cast: Vanessa Howard, Michael Bryant, Ursula Howells, Pat Heywood, Howard Trevor
Sexy, teenaged, immature Girly and her camera-wielding brother Sonny bring home unsuspecting men to Mumsy and Nanny, where they play games, and if they don't follow the rules, they're sent to the angels. One day they bring home a New Friend who has a few ideas for games of his own, though, and he begins to turn the foursome against each other.

'Wickedly odd exploitation feeling black comedy from English horror legend Freddie Francis and based on an old British stage play. It’s the tale of a creepy fatherless English family Mumsy, Sonny, Girly & their Nanny who all live in an old rundown mansion. They send the two youngest out girly and sonny (dressed in child’s clothes but clearly much older) to bring back friends to play with, if the friends break a rule or refuse to play along they get killed here called 'meeting the angels'. The films got a bleak retro feel somewhere between the failing to grow old Bette Davis in Whatever to Baby Jane and the killer kids of either The Innocents or Devil Times Five. My fave moment is when sonny dressed as an Indian hunts down friend no.5 with a bow and arrow as we are about to see the final moment of death it cuts to the whole family watching it back like some warped snuff version of a family movie. The cast are all great Vanessa Howard is sexy as Girly, Howard Trevor is disturbing as Sonny and Ursula Howells and Pat Heywood are likewise twisted as Mumsy and Nanny. The old decayed mansion and its grounds are the perfect backdrop for the ritualistic deaths. Highly recommended to fans of euro exploitation.'
