REVIEWED

“That is until your car shuts off by itself... Somes says its the aliens, I says its the gubberment, the damned NSA. They got some kinda giant listening post in the wasteland.” - Conspiracy Crank Barry (David Ferry)

Passable STV horror sequel, thats got an heavy sway towards action. Psycho killer, truck driver Rusty Nails back in the drivers seat, and hes looking for fresh meat. He crosses paths with a racing driver named Jordon and his buddies, who are ripping up his highway, big mistake.

Lifeless plot, atrociously lame one liners and mediocre acting (didn't help the characters lacked personalities). On the brightside the action & murder set pieces were handled rather well, helped that it used genuine stunt work and prosthetic makeup over cgfx. Guess as far horror movie franchises that reach 2nd sequel status go, this wasn't too bad.

[Personal Reasons For Remembering]

Most the deaths involved being chained to the truck in some manner, best involved <spoiler> the do-gooder blonde (Kirsten Prout) becoming a human hood ornament and getting torn in half.</spoiler>
