“Its the Deptford dodger.”

- Beverley (Eileen Fletcher) the 8 year old supergrass

Daddy was a bank robber... A 14 year boy named Keith runs away from a children's home, in order to find his dad in London. A local kid named Chris helps him to locate his father but turns he's a wanted criminal.

Enjoyable little Artful Dodger variant from CFF that harks back to the days kids did errands for old folks, and bobbies actually walked the streets. Nothing really sets it apart but it flows quickly and the 2 central kids seem likable. Guess my highlight was elderly Mr. Grimes looking more than relieved when precocious Beverley finally shut her mouth and left him alone.

[Personal Reasons For Remembering]

Banksy like titles hehe.
