Amateur ozploitation thats essentially a gory public safety film, warning about the serious risk of taking a ride from strangers. Four friends have a wild girly night-out in Brisbane. To grab a free ride home, one of them makes the mistake of calling a boy she knew years back in school, that had a crush on her. Only he brings his two sociopath buddys along for the ride. And the girls night out is about go from wild to ins-'fucking'-ane.
Letterboxd's info is a bit off, its from 2011 and directed by Chris Sun. Yeah its shitty, but bearing in mind this is real micro budget stuff, sub Jim Van Bebber & Andreas Schnaas levels. And that its Sun's first feature, it isn't so bad. While it lacks character to be considered worth seeing. Its far from barrel scraping, and surprisingly was no worse than many higher budgeted recent slashers, like the god awful 'Final Girl' for instance. One to miss, unless you're an hardcore slasher nut that has an high tolerance towards obnoxious characters.
