Blood Car (2007)
Director: Alex Orr
Writers: Hugh Braselton (story), Alex Orr
In the near future, gas prices are at an astronomical high. One man is determined to find an alternate fuel source. That alternate fuel source turns out to be blood...HUMAN BLOOD.
'The concept behind this is cool but done so poorly. The films pace as the feel that they picked up a camera filmed a bit then took a few weeks off then filmed some more, as none of it gels together. A few nice little gore FX scenes like the lawn mower style car engine don't help keep your attention for nearly long enough. Acting is sub troma level My Girls Anna Chlumsky must be starving or Blood Cars makers must have some dirt on her, because its beyond me why she's in such a lowgrade turkey. The musics mostly classical which I guess means free. All this though isn't as bad as the god awful use of cctv style cutbacks featuring two MIB like goons watching all the action, its very mst3k feeling only less funny. The only real selling point to b-movie fans is the sexual gags have plenty of boobs. Its no worse than the films troma have been pumping out for years but none of it adds up enough to make this worth your time.'
