aka: Crazed
Director: Richard Cassidy
Writer: Richard Cassidy
Cast: Laszlo Papas, Belle Mitchell, Beverly Ross
A lonely, mother-dominated man becomes obsessed by a beautiful young tenant in his mother´s boarding house. When the object of his desire accidentally drowns in her bathtub, he hides her body in his room, resorting to murderous measures to keep anybody from discovering his "bride."
Bloodshed is pretty dark and sombre. Its a tale about a lonely mans attempts at keeping a woman's body after she accidentally dies while taking a bath. He ends up going to extreme length's to hide her body.
Oddly lacking the humor that most other Troma films have (though I did laugh a couple of times with a few unintentional gags like the old woman swearing or talking with her friend about sex). The acting is typically bad like we have come to take for granted with Troma's films. The director/writer Richard Cassidy failed for most part in taking advantage of such a potentially sleazy subject, if Bloodshed had been a little more perverse it could of become a cult hit.
