The Last Great Wilderness is the familier rural thriller setup of outsiders crossing paths with creepy yokals (in this case residents of a country retreat).


It was a pretty amateur production, the framing of many of the scenes was especially terrible. But putting aside its low budget restraints its a solid teethcutting drama by director David Mackenzie who went on to make movies I've not seen with Ewan McGregor & Tilda Swinton, but also 'Hallam Foe' with Jamie Bell which I remember really enjoying.
