Usually I'm first to defend sci-fi, because out of all the genres it gets the most vitriol feedback (such an harsh fanbase). But the 'come on it wasn't that bad' argument is lost on this turkey, its Battlefield Earth bad without being as amusing.
Will Smith and his 12 year old clone Jaden, star side by side as father and son. The youngest of the clones Jaden gets the chance to follow his life long dream of following in is dads footsteps and becoming a ranger, when they're both forced to crash land on a post alien apocalypse Earth.
The films one saving grace is M. Night Shyamalan direction and knack for setting up visually pleasing landscapes & space vista, sadly hes let down by bland cgi creature & spacecraft design and the (never should have been granted its budget) moronic plot that WIggedy Will no doubt wrote on a chewing gum wrapper.

After the atrocious narrated opening from the younger Smith, you know you're in for a cringe worthy ride. I don't wanna be harsh on the young kid but theres not a cat in hells chance he'd get a gig in a b-movie let alone 100m plus blockbuster.
