Lighthearted personal journey comedy from Diablo Cody the writer of the vastly superior Juno, that features mildly amusing (ie not actual laughable) observations on faith, religion and racial stereotypes.

Far too much Russell Brand and too little Nick Offerman for my tastes. I was hoping for something a little more edgy, instead of nice. Anyone seeking a much more profound statement on small town American religion and sin, should watch the seminal cartoon series Moral Orel.

The black Vegas club singer expected to sing Aretha Franklyn numbers but singing Radioheads No Surprises was hella fun.
